CISB

Lindholmen Science Park is part of the Swedish-Brazilian innovation centre in Sao Paulo (CISB) which started in May 2011. The centre is a collaborative effort between Lindholmen Science Park and various industrial and academic partners, including Scania, Stora Enso, Saab, SP, Innventia and Chalmers.

CISB is designed after the Lindholmen Science Park model, focusing on cooperation between the business, university and public sectors. Project manager Cecilia Alkhagen was recruited to Lindholmen Science Park in November 2011 to work on business development for CISB.

Strong ties between Sweden and Brazil
Over 200 Swedish companies are currently operating in Brazil, and trade relations are growing steadily. Since 2009, Sweden has a strategic partnership with Brazil in areas such as trade, bio-energy, science and climate.
