A fast-growing media cluster

Lindholmen Science Park is developing Lindholmen into an attractive environment for development projects in media and design.

Several players in the media industry are already established at Lindholmen, including SVT (Swedish State Television), Sveriges Radio (the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation), the theatre companies Backa Teater and Aftonstjärnan, and the film cluster Gothenburg Film Studios. The IT University’s visualisation cluster is also located here, and has strong links with Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg with regard to media research.

In the media field Lindholmen Science Park also collaborate with Gothenburg Film Studios, which is a rapidly growing cluster of film companies, gathered in one place at Lindholmen. More than 45 film-related companies are located here, including three studios and several offices.
