This website is built using relative font sizes, which means that it is possible to change the text size by using the browser's built-in functionality. Depending on which browser you use, the method for changing text size is slightly different. You can see which browser you use by looking at the top of the window or the menu bar.
There are too many different browsers to cover all, but here's an explanation on how to change the text size in the most common browsers.
- Internet Explorer
- Firefox
- Safari
In most browsers, you can change the text size or enlarge the entire page in a similar ways. If you are unsure of how to do it there should be information in your browser's documentation or help system.
Changing text size in Internet Explorer
There are four ways to change text size in Internet Explorer 8:
- Click "Page>Text Size" in the toolbar and pick a size.
- Click "Page>Zoom" in the toolbar and choose zoom in or zoom out.
This will enlarge or shrink the entire page, including images. - Hold down the Ctrl key and press + or - to enlarge or shrink the entire page.
- If you have a mouse with scroll wheel, hold down the Ctrl key and spin the scroll wheel to zoom in or zoom out.
Changing text size in Firefox
In Firefox there are three ways to change text size:
- Click on "View>Text Size" in the toolbar and choose "Increase" or "Decrease"
- Hold down the Ctrl key and press + or - to increase or decrease the size of the text.
- If you have a mouse with scroll wheel, hold down the Ctrl key and spin the scroll wheel to increase or decrease the size of the text.
Changing text size in Safari
In Safari there are two ways to changed text size:
- Click on "View" and choose "Make text bigger" or "Make text smaller"
- Hold down the Cmd (Apple) key and press + or - to increase or decrease the size of the text.
