Opening ceremony of the Software Center

It is with great pleasure we invite you to the opening ceremony of the Software Center on Tuesday February 14th. The event location is the first floor in the building Kuggen at Lindholmen, 1st floor, at Campus Lindholmen, Gothenburg.

The ceremony is officiated by Karin Markides, President and CEO of Chalmers University of Technology, and Pam Fredman, Vice-Chancellor of University of Gothenburg.

Background information
The software center is a new research center established with Chalmers University (host) and University of Gothenburg in close collaboration with industry partners. The founding members are Ericsson, Saab Group, Volvo Cars Corporation, and Volvo Group.

The mission of the center is to conduct scientifically excellent research in industrially strategic research areas and thus contribute to the competitiveness of the industrial partners, and advance the state-of-the-art research and practice, nationally and internationally.
