About the conference

OVERALL GOAL:
to bring to the attention of the policy-makers the work implemented at local/ regional level by authorities and stakeholders in order to develop overall innovation policies and priorities and to establish a continuing dialogue between the EU institutions and other European stakeholders within this area.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE EVENT:
to showcase, share and discuss cutting edge policies, measures and actions implemented at European regional level in using strategic indicators reflecting triple helix perspectives on research, development and innovation clusters by the example of the transport industry.
 
AUDIENCE: 
European, stakeholders and decision-makers involved research, financing, production, education and industry.
 
EXHIBITORS:
Lindholmen Science Park and partners, and other organizations/institutions invited by City of Göteborg and regional partners working on collaborative projects.
 
CONCEPT:
The event is a moment to share with other stakeholders and the EU institutions the local and regional activities and policies related to innovation and best practices and identifying future priorities and needs of the European city and regions.

The exhibition will include three main “spaces” for dialogue and for sharing knowledge and regional practices, the Virtual Lab, the Full-scale Lab, and the Reality Lab. In these three labs various results from applied research, concepts development, and field trials will be demonstrated.
