Thursday, June 1, 2017

As newly appointed Chairman of the Board, Anna Nilsson-Ehle is looking forward to Lindholmen Science Park’s continued journey. “I have long been part of the strong development of Lindholmen Science Park and I hope to be able to make further substantial contributions to create innovation strength for Sweden.”

With broad experience of the academy and senior positions at Volvo Cars and the Volvo Group, as president of Universeum, and most recently as director of SAFER - vehicle and traffic safety center at Lindholmen, Anna Nilsson-Ehle has a clear view of what is required for societal development and growth.

“Cooperation in the ecosystem between many competencies, large and small companies, societal players, researchers, students and users, is a must in order to tackle our social challenges and strengthen competition. It won’t happen by itself – Lindholmen Science Park is continuing to develop its unique role and ability to stimulate, visualize and support creative steps for the ecosystem’s growth and dynamics. Together with the rest of the Board, I want to serve as positive support in this task."

“We are delighted that Anna has accepted the assignment. I have had the privilege of working with her before and her ability to inspire and her professionalism will be of great benefit to our future operations. Those in the Lindholmen Science Park ecosystem have a unique knowledge bank and experience has been accumulated in the transport, ICT, media and visualization areas, so overall, we have a very bright view of the future,” says Niklas Wahlberg, President of Lindholmen Science Park.
