Anna Pernestål will be Collaborator of the Year 2024

 Anna was unfortunately unable to participate in the ceremony, but delivered a message through David Fridner from Lindholmen Science Park: 

"Thank you so much for the award, it makes me both happy and very proud to receive it! For more than fifteen years, I have run research and projects dealing with how we can use new technology to change to a more sustainable transport system. The most important thing I have learned during these years is that to successfully change, we need to see challenges from different perspectives - that different actors and people share their perspectives, thoughts, and challenges, but are also curious about each other's different perspectives. Cooperation is absolutely necessary for the transition to a sustainable society, and through cooperation we can also accelerate the transition. 

I also want to thank all the fantastic people and organizations with whom I have the privilege of collaborating, in the TREE project and in other projects and contexts - without your curiosity about other projects and your willingness to invest in collaboration, nothing would have happened!" 

The jury that selects three finalists from the nominated entries is led by Martin Wahlgren, CEO of Consat and this year's other finalists were Josefine Bertram from Prehab GBG and Johan De Paoli from Gothenburg & Co. The jury's reasoning reads as follows: 

Anna Pernestål 

Anna is a superpower working to change the transport sector to fossil-free. With solid research experience from Scania and KTH, she today leads collaborative projects for electrified forest transport in her role at Skogforsk. Anna knows how to lead a team towards common goals and make sure that all partners feel involved and can contribute to their full potential. 

Josephine Bertram

 With her newly opened health studio in Lindholmen, Josefine has quickly become a familiar face to many with her commitment to the people in the area. In the middle of the hectic work life, Josefine here reminds us of the importance of physical and mental well-being. She is a brave entrepreneur who we know will succeed. 

 Johan DePaoli 

Johan is the visionary at Gothenburg & Co who drives the digital development of the city as a visitor destination forward. With a fantastic commitment, great creativity and in a true collaborative spirit, he makes things happen. Johan always has his eyes on the future and invites the rest of us to join the journey.
