The board of Lindholmen Science Park AB has appointed Johan Löfvenholm as the new CEO of the company. With extensive experience in the automotive industry, he will begin his new role in August, focusing on strengthening Swedish innovation and competitiveness.
Johan Löfvenholm holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and brings experience from senior positions at Autoliv and Veoneer as he succeeds Tord Hermansson as CEO.
From his roles as technical manager at various levels, Johan built up Autoliv's operations in Asia over six years. In 2010, he became the head of Autoliv's electronics operations in Europe, and the following year he was appointed Technical Director and a member of the executive management team. In 2016, he became the business manager for Autoliv Electronics, which became Veoneer in 2018. He was also deeply involved in the formation of Zenuity, a joint venture with Volvo Cars.
"Johan's expertise and experiences from leadership in a high-tech, globally competitive company will further strengthen Lindholmen Science Park. His ability to feel inspired by and comfortable with both complex conditions and socially important areas will be an important asset in our mission to drive system innovation for a sustainable society, where industry, academia, and the public sector collaborate," says Chairperson Anna Nilsson-Ehle.
For the past five years, Johan has worked as a teacher at Torpskolan in Lerum while maintaining contact with the business world through board assignments and as an advisor.
"We see that our project activities, the development of our networks, and the combined expertise of our employees will greatly benefit from the experiences that Johan brings with him," says Deputy CEO Maria Oscott.
