More people taking the boat between Rosenlund and Lindholmspiren

Saturday, June 20, 2009

The number of passengers on the Älvsnabben and Älvsnabbare boats grew by 10.9% in May and 15.9% in the January–May period.

The Styrsöbolaget, which operates the boats, even added extra routes with the Älv-Vira between 20 April and 29 May to cover the additional passengers. If all goes according to plan, the Älv-Vira will be put back in service for extra routes in September and October as well.

Älvsnabben
The Älvsnabben goes between Lilla Bommen – Rosenlund – Lindholmspiren – Slottsberget – Eriksberg – Klippan and back. The ferry goes every 30 minutes during rush hour and every 60 minutes the rest of the day.

Älvsnabbare
The Älvsnabbare line goes between Rosenlund and Lindholmspiren Monday–Friday.
The ferry goes every 5 minutes during rush hour and every 15 minutes the rest of the day.

Bicycles on the boat
Both the Älvsnabben and the Älvsnabbare allow bicycles on board if space allows. Bicyclists do not pay extra to bring along their bike.

The summer timetables for public transport went into effect on 16 June. Read more on www.vasttrafik.se or www.styrsobolaget.se
