VTI grows at Lindholmen

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

The VTI office in Gothenburg has moved to a new address at Lindholmen. The new office is situated at Regnbågsgatan, where  VTI is building a unique driving simulator. With this simulator, Lindholmen will be able to offer an open research environment of world class.

The driving simulator, which is planned to come into use in the autumn of 2010, will have an advanced motion system that enables linear movements in the x and y directions. It will be able to change between a passenger car and a lorry cab and will have a visualisation system with a horizontal field of view in excess of 180 degrees. VTI opened its office in Gothenburg in the spring of 2004. The office employs 14 people. VTI has its head office in Linköping.
