ASTER was a collaborative effort between Lindholmen Science Park and Lund University. The program was funded by Vinnova, the Swedish innovation agency, and the Swedish Energy Agency, with a total budget of 10,400,000 SEK. Of this total, 4,500,000 SEK was specifically earmarked for organizations that wanted to jointly apply for funding for projects related to sustainable e-commerce.
