DENSE - The unified e-commerce delivery
The project involves several key stakeholders that play an important role in the Swedish ecosystem. Its aim was to explore and develop a consolidation solution for last-mile deliveries that could be implemented on market-based terms, and to assess how such a solution could complement existing ones.
The project was designed as a feasibility study to explore models for a competitive-neutral delivery solution based on the existing infrastructure in the city of Stockholm. The goal was to mobilize a wide range of parties for a system demonstration, addressing practical aspects of implementation and operation, as well as exploring how business models for such solutions could be developed.
