More than 30,000 people move through Lindholmen – Gothenburg’s most dynamic innovation district – every day. It is here that the foundation is now being laid for a new transport and energy solution: an integrated mobility hub. This is not merely a traditional parking garage, but a smart, integrated hub where flows of people, goods, and energy converge and are optimized to make fossil-free transport a reality.
Project
Nudge2Shift Mobility (N2SM) is a two-year innovation project aimed at accelerating the transition from unsustainable to more sustainable transport among user groups in urban innovation districts. The project employs "nudging" methodology as a strategy to influence people to change their travel habits – reducing private car use in favor of more sustainable modes of transport. Nudging is a behavioral economics technique that involves making small adjustments to the choice environment to give people a "friendly nudge", making it easier for them to make decisions that promote their well-being without restricting their freedom of choice or imposing coercion.
