Here I am! Says my car

We invite you to a short popular scientific lecture with two of our Ph.D students at the department for Communication and Antenna Systems/Communication systems. Coffee will be served.

Keerthi Nagalapur talks about some of the benefits and challenges of making vehicles talk to each other for our safety on the roads.

Safety of the road passengers today depends to a large extent on the drivers’ attentiveness and their ability to overcome a dangerous situation. By making road vehicles communicate with each other, we can allow them to support their drivers in dangerous situations.

Katharina Hausmairs research is about designing and improving
wireless communication systems, for example the mobile phone
