48h hackathon to save lives through innovation

During a 2 days hackathon Länsförsäkringar provides unique data about traffic accidents to the ones it really concerns – the citizens of the West Coast. Combine it with open sources such as pollution, weather, traffic information etc.

Last year in Gothenburg, thousands of persons were affected by traffic accidents. We know this because ever since we at Länsförsäkringar started the journey of helping people to a more sustainable way of living, we’ve collected every conceivable data related to these accidents.

Now we need your help figuring out how to use it to create tools to make traffic and our streets safer.

Some ideas on challenges to address

• How can we make Gothenburg a safer city for commuting?
• How can we help the city of Gothenburg to plan for safer traffic redirections?
• How can we avoid traffic accidents on the countryside?
