MobilityXlab has achieved notable recognition by being selected as one of Europe’s Leading Start-Up Hubs for 2024, a prestigious ranking curated by Financial Times and Statista. Along with other six hubs in Sweden and, in total, 125 in Europe, MobilityXlab has been recognized for its role in the European startup ecosystem.

This acknowledgment highlights MobilityXlab's dedication to creating a conducive environment where startups can thrive and forge meaningful connections with established industry players with the vision to pioneer the future of mobility. With a distinct collaboration framework that focuses on the co-creation of solutions between the startups and its six industry partners, MobilityXlab has reached the milestones of 114 validation projects and 20 accelerations.

A recent example of this relationship and its benefits is the project between the MobilityXlab portfolio startup Reselo and CEVT, Polestar, Volvo Group, and Volvo Cars. Together, they will test possible applications of low-emission rubber produced from tree bark in vehicles.

Europe's Leading Start-Up Hubs 2024 is a ranking of the top centers for founders offering incubator and/or accelerator programs to people who want to build or grow a company. According to Financial Times, several elements were considered for the evaluation, with the main criterion being the assessment of the respective startup hub by alumni who participated in at least one incubator or accelerator program run by the respective hub. In addition, the recommendations of external experts, such as investors (business angels, representatives of venture capital firms), entrepreneurs, and academics were included.

Katarina Brud, Director of MobilityXlab, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, "Being named one of Europe’s Leading Start-Up Hubs for 2024 by Financial Times and Statista is a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering collaboration between startups and industry leaders. We believe in the power of synergistic partnerships to drive innovation for a sustainable and safe future of mobility and are very proud to be recognized for our efforts. This acknowledgement shows the strength of our community and would not have been possible without the strong engagement and commitment from our partners and startups."
