In the spring of 2022, Geely submitted a building permit application and in June of the same year, the shovel was put in the ground for the project. Now Balder and Geely have decided to jointly continue development.

- Lindholmen with its Science Park and innovation center is an attractive area that we would like to be a part of. I am impressed by what has been achieved so far with Uni3 by Geely and am very pleased to be able to make this fine investment together with Geely, says Balder CEO Erik Selin.

Geely Sweden Holdings is Sweden's largest holding company and includes, among other things, the real estate company Geely Europe Innovation Center AB, which owns the corporate campus.

- Already early on during the development of our campus, we noticed a great deal of pressure from companies that were interested in establishing themselves here with us. Therefore, it was a natural step to build the sixth building we had an option on, and we are very happy to be able to do it in collaboration with perhaps Sweden's leading real estate company, says Gang Wei, CEO of Geely Europe Innovation Center AB.

The 12-story building covers approximately 17,500 square meters. In addition to office space, there is space for a restaurant, shops and spaces for exhibitions and fairs on the ground floor, as well as a roof terrace on the top floor. In November, the tech company Sinix Group was announced as a tenant and will be among the first to move in. According to the plan, the building should be ready for occupancy in the summer of 2024.
