Lindholmen’s sportiest building

Friday, September 11, 2009

The Lindholmen Relay will kick off at 6 p.m. today in Göteborg, with 800 participants. Thirteen of the teams participating in the race are from companies at Lindholmen Science Park’s central building at Lindholmspiren 5. This makes Lindholmen Science Park the sportiest building in Lindholmen.

In total, more than 200 teams have registered for the race. Each team has four participants, meaning that the total number of participants currently stands at 800. Thirteen of the teams are from the central building at Lindholmen Science Park, which is one of the race's main sponsors. This means that 52 employees from Lindholmen Science Park will run in the race, making Lindholmen Science Park the sportiest building in Lindholmen. Two teams are from Lindholmen Science Park’s organisation. Needless to say, Lindholmen Science Park’s CEO Niklas Wahlberg will be running the race.

- It’s important for us to support this race. It provides a great kick-off for our companies and is good for people’s health. The fact that thirteen teams from the building have registered clearly attests to the level of commitment here, comments Wahlberg.
