Wednesday, November 29, 2023

The peak has been reached in the Nordics' tallest building, Karlatornet, and next year the 246-metre high tower with its 74 floors consisting of apartments, hotels, offices, sky bars and observation decks will be inaugurated. Now the plans are also ready for the glass cage that will be built 230 meters up in the air. It will be a unique experience and a strong visitor destination for all of Gothenburg.
''I think we will succeed in attracting 500,000 visitors there every year'', says Ola Serneke to Fastighetsvärlden.

The construction of the tower is the starting point for the new district of Karlastaden, which is located in the Lindholmen Science Park area. Karlatornet will be Gothenburg's first skyscraper and the Nordic region's tallest building. The first move-in to the apartments will be in August this year and will then take place gradually until the summer of 2024.
