LIMA

LIMA is a mobility project for everyone working in and near Lindholmen. In a pilot that brings together different modes of transport and parking in a smart service, LIMA's aim is to simplify local and regional travel, increase accessibility at Lindholmen and contribute to a more sustainable city.

LIMA gives you the possibility to use public transport, rental bikes, electric scooters, rental cars and taxis. And in addition you get access to shared electric cars via a car pool and company cars as well as opportunities to share your own car and pay for parking. All in one service.

LIMA will involve 1,000 employees in a large-scale pilot that includes combined mobility and includes new car sharing concepts and overall system optimization using AI. A Mobility Hub, which will work as a physical gathering place for local transport, will also be developed and evaluations of behavioral changes among the project's travelers as well as business models and societal effects are also included in the project.

LIMA will deliver a comprehensive, scalable solution for mobility for employees and companies, which during the project will be tested and evaluated at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg.

What does LIMA want to achieve?

  • An efficient and flexible mobility service for companies at Lindholmen and its employees
  • Increased attractiveness for employers at Lindholmen
  • An economically sustainable mobility service that can be scaled up after the project
  • Positive environmental effects, such as reduced emissions and reduced congestion in traffic
