Organization
Lindholmen Science Park AB was founded in 2000 by Chalmers University of Technology and the City of Gothenburg. Today, the City of Gothenburg, together with Swedish business, is our owner. Chalmers remains a strategic partner and important financier, as is the Västra Götaland Region, the University of Gothenburg and the Swedish Transport Administration, as well as Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and Formas. As a neutral enabler, we have over time developed into a national resource for increased Swedish innovation.
Owner
Chalmers University of Technology and the City of Gothenburg are founders and each hold 150 A shares. The main owners with 90 B shares each are Ericsson AB, Volvo Group, Volvo Cars, Saab AB, Telenor Sverige AB, Scania Group and Business Region Gothenburg. Co-owners with 1-10 B shares are Toyota Material Handling Europe, Nexer, Consat, Bluetest and the Vehicle Component Group (FKG).
Lindholmen Science Park AB, company no. 556568-6366, was established in 2000 and is headquartered at Lindholmen in Gothenburg.
Partners
A collaboration agreement at the same level as the main owner has been signed with the University of Gothenburg. The Västra Götaland Region is a strategic partner and financier. Other major financiers for projects and programs are also Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.
Lindholmen Science Park AB also has close collaboration with Älvstranden Utveckling, property owners and many other companies in the Lindholmen Innovation District.
